What I was saying is that if we take the majority of the posters who have responded / posted in this thread, we are seeing an overwhelming majoiry who support and /or sympathize with the pregnant girl. Com'on guys. I make less than $1000 per paycheck (< 30K per year) and yet I am willing to part with $50 to support IV. I am sure many of you make at least twice my salary.
Please contribute to IV and help yourselves in obtaining your GCs faster than the projected 10-12 year current wait time due to retrogression.

Beleive me , we have lot of people in the same boat like you and let me tell them that if we as a forum can get to our goals, we will make more than double a year than what we make today.... I am sure you will make more than 90K if you get GC ... I have seen lot of my friends who had offers go past under the nose just becuase they didn't had a GC....

Here is the dilemma.... The Idea is great...It can change our lives But if we sit on the idea for long it will rot So DO WE TAKE ACTION or LET US WAIT FOR CORE TO COME UP WITH SOLUTION. I would suggest we form a small committee or group of people who can brainstorm and come up with possible course of actions and then present the idea to core.
This is similar to House->Judiciary committee -> Immigration sub Committee
idea is to analyze the situation and come up with the best solution rather than waiting for
CORE to act on.

Good job folks, there's still 2 hours in ET and 5 hours in PT for the day to end and I'm hopeful of reaching the magic number of 46 members contributing by end of tonight, if you are on the border and unsure about contributing...please read on...otherwise click on the "contribute now" button ..
I attended the "conference in Boston" earlier this month to which three core members had flown in and had the first hand opportunity to discuss with them. The dedication and resolve they showed approaching key people in lawmakers office was just so inspirational. Specifically, the way Aman was talking to individual IV members without taking anything for granted. None of it was for individual cause but for the entire team which means "you". So the best we could do is help the group financially and provide the means to approach for more stronger lobbying efforts. Let's be real, at the end of the day, money talks in the senate ! and we all can contribute little by little and provide the backbone for us and incoming generations..so let's do it folks, please step up...all required is $20 per member...

what makes you state with confidance that the preadjudicated cases will be evaluated. can you please explain the basis of your statement. both my case and my wife's case has been pre-adjudicated and i am waiting for my green card. so do you think we should expect our green card some time next month without any additional followup. i would hate to see my case being sidetracked when some one else with pd and rd much beyond mine is serviced. any thoughts and insights. not trying to offend anyone. just trying to get some information.

Child beaters need to be taught a good lesson. Because of obvious reasons, you cannot go to the police or immigration.
I am assuming she doesn't know that you can't go to the authorities. So..(this might sound stupid) you can threaten her that you will report her unless she refunds all the money you paid her. This is the best possible punishment I can think of.

So need to change employer for filing GC

I-140 approved with current employer
Not able to file I-485 because of retrogression
Wife not able to work
Moving around for jobs with family
Cheating Employer
Frustation with H1B Extension and stamping
Not able to Plan to go to India because of Interview dates
Not able to plan on good school Child's education
Not able to spend more money on good health insurance
Lot of time and money spent on H1B Extension and stamping
Signing short term lease for Apt's and moving around
Drivers license based on H1B papers
No benefits like 401K etc with small employers
Sick with the current employer

I think you can find a lot of people on the IIT forums that float around the web. I am sure we can find really successful(well almost) with sorry stories and restrained in career advancement due to EB retrogression.
