If First/Last name in all immigration related applications/docs match with entries in corrected passport, I don't think you need anything else. Green Card, when received, should have entries as in passport.

In your "business model", the costs are shared by a few, but the benefits are free for everyone. (Ever think about that? D'oh!! What do you think is going to happen if any fixes are implemented? USCIS is going to say "only those who donate to IV can get 2 year AP, recaptured visa numbers etc??)
The donors know this, but still shell out the money. Perhaps you should appreciate that before coming up with such brilliant business ideas. :D

If you believe in law suit you can discuss with a lawyer and ask about feasiblity of lawsuit and pros and cons with potential expense. Most lawyers will not charge for initial consultation. That will be a good initiative.

On my 485 receipt, I have RD as 7/20/07, ND as 9/13/07. But when I check my case online, it has 9/12/07.
I had called TSC yesterday and the rep kept telling 9/12/07 and TSC is processing 8/30/07. I told her I have the original receipt in front of me and it says 7/20/07 and not sure where you are getting 9/12 from. She said "Oh I am sorry, I was looking at the incorrect place". She later gave me a SR # and took all the info. The funny part was she even refused to open a SR telling the date was 9/12.
Not sure whether opening a SR now will help but trying does not hurt and it is FREE !!!! Hopefully the officer looks at my file and then approves it.

TSC doesn't care where your file was until they received (and agreed to accept it), which was on 9/12/07. So they say, they (TSC) received it on 9/12/07. Unless somebody has instructed centers to place physical files where they should have been based on the mailroom RD, it is very unlikely that they do anything but place in order they received them i.e. for your case, place your file behind those received (by TSC) on 7/11/07. It is not good, but that's what it is when they say "we process cases in order we receive them" (note that here "we" means the center, not USCIS)

Can we propose a bill which would give us - the honest, sincere, law abiding aliens - a time bound path to Green Card and Citizenship?
Political parties only talk and seem to be interested in giving illegals a time bound path to citizenship? They even introduced a "Dream Act" in favour their children. Why should we / our children be sidelined?
Can we request for a bill which would:
1.Grant GC to all EB 2 / 3 class pimary applicants who have completed 8 years of continuous stay in the USA without any criminal record.
2. Provide Citizeship to all EB primary applicants who have completed 12 years of continuous stay without any criminal record
Note:
When the primary applicant is issued a GC / Citizenship, the dependents (spouse and kids) should get the same benefit.
The current system is designed to favour ONLY the employers and the law firms, not the humble, hard working EB class slave who toils.
I think we shud first understand the difference between legislation and amending constitution. What you are suggesting requires amending or re-writing part of fourteenth Amendment of constitution to grant citizenship based on the x number of years of legal stay without going through the process of first getting the permanent resident status. And any attempt to amend the constitution is highly unlikely. Similarly the process of getting GC also falls under this category instead in contrast you can fix the issues more justly through legislation/congressional action which is more realistic to fix the broken immigration system like the visa recapture or removing per country quota or allowing someone to file 485 without thier dates being current etc etc., and that is what IV is working on and is more doable. Pappu or someone from IV, pls correct me if I am wrong.
when getting this through mere legislation itself is such a big task with so much of time, resources, money involved for lobbying imagine asking them to amend the constitution is highly unrealistic.

The idea is interesting, but I am not convinced. I am a skeptic. Becacuse the question is how will anyone be able to make this idea into reality. Someone should manage a timeplan, budget for this bill. We also need few people to go to Capitol and talk to media and Senators. We need someone to become a leader of this idea. Without a leader and timeplan I cannot buy this idea.

The only way we would be able to find out about the truth if by looking at the approvals in the next few days. I guess if an application has been assigned a number then those applications will still be approved but in the next few days the approvals will stop.

Dude, This is not a project with expected Go-live date... We are investing for ourself. Do you think any law firm or org in this country can do that... If so we will be in different shape.
I support what seahawk mentioned, in last 1 year i requested all my friends, relatives to join or support IV. I see only limited number doing that... but when issues come up they need a solution. But i will keep on trying... Its a sad reality.

Immigration Voice should take up this issue with USCIS. Those who came to US after 2007 should get PD of the date they applied for transfer of Labor OR applied for 140. Other wise it is abuse of law.
