Nothing has really changed. Jeff has filed an appeal, but it could take close to a year for it to be heard in front of a judge. As of now everything is in limbo.
What has been impressive is the number of enthusiast forums, newspapers, "real" magazines and websites that picked up the story off this blog. They include the Historic Vehicle Association (HVA) (who ran the blog post verbatim - You can see it and the HVA members comments here.) and Vintage Motorsports. As expected, many people are outraged by this.
