1965 Pontiac 2 + 2 Convertible

A quick post here. I've always liked the 1960s / early 1970s Pontiacs.

This is a Pontiac 2+2 (Also called the Catalina 2+2). It was supposed to be the big brother to the GTO; a performance version of the Catalina.

It looked good and was very quick, but the public didn't take to it like they did the GTO. Pontiac discontinued it in 1967, after only 4 model years. (A Canadian version was available right through 1970.)

This is a matching number car with just 82,000 miles on it. It was repainted 5 years ago. The seller says all the chrome is in "mint or near mint condition" and the interior is in "perfect to new conditon". He says the car's driver fender has a "slight dent from mag wheel coming off". (Yikes!)

If you're looking for a 1960s US muscle car, this would be a cool alternative to a GTO.
