1973 Skoda 110L Deluxe

Here's a car that has personality in spades. Its 53 HP, water cooled engine is in the rear. It uses a swing axle type suspension. 60 MPH comes in 20 seconds. Its top speed is 84 MPH.

It looks like no other car on the planet. Some of the details look insane. Look at the air cleaner; it looks bombproof (actually, it kind of looks like a bomb). The pedals seem to be so far over to the right, that it looks like you'd have to sit side-saddle to operate them. The door latches and catches look like nothing I've ever seen. The list goes on and on... This is truly a unique vehicle.

This is an 11,000 mile car. It's being offered by a guy who regularly sells Eastern European vehicles on eBay. (He has 100% feedback.) He says it's completely original, right down to the Barum 155-14 tires. (If the swing axles don't kill you, the tires might do the trick.)

It would be tempting to own this car just for its uniqueness. It would most likely be 1 of 1 in North America. But personally, I'd hold out for the nicer looking, far more entertaining 110R Coupe.
