I've never seen one of these before. There isn't a lot of information available on the internet, but I did find this on a site called Old Car Junkie: "These pickups were built in Halifax Autoport in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada using standard Niva components as well as the Chevrolet truck tail lights and coach built rear section."
The seller of this one says it's a "military truck" (Whose military? I can't imagine the Canadians using custom-built Ladas in their military.) with a "10 speed transmission". (A 5 speed with overdrive on all gears? I have no idea.)
Located in Grande Prairie, Ontario, Canada, click here to see the Kijiji ad.
A big thanks to JaCG reader, Andrew, for sending me the link to this car.
