Built on a carbon-fiber chassis the car weight only 950 kilos. Under the hood there is a Maserati sourced 4,2 liter V8 engine that delivers an impressive 420hp. The engine is mated to a 6-speed Sequential gearbox. However, Gillet did not revealed any performance numbers just yet.

Thanks to a carbon-fiber chassis along with super lightweight body panels, the Vertigo.5 Spirit only tips the scales at 2,200 pounds. With the slender weight combined with the awesome Maserati V-8, the car should eclipse the previous model’s sprint to 60 mph, which is only 3.26 seconds.

Gillet hasn't announced pricing, but the earlier Gillet Vertigo was priced from around $265,000.
