Hello..
1.I have 1 labor PD Dec 6th 2002 EB3 category,currently working with them. Labor has approved, will be filing my 140 soon.
2. My exemployer filed a labor PD Oct 28th 2003 EB2 category.
Being from India and EB3,god only knows when 2002 Dec can get current. I read somewhere that the earlier PD can be retained for the EB2 category..??
I want to retain Dec 2002 PD for the EB2 case. My EB2 employer is all willing to help me so far after hearing the miseries of the GC story,but at the same time what their corporate attorney says,it is the bible for the company. So I want to have as much as a clear picture before I approach their attorney..
gurus..if anyone can enlighten us many of us will save about 3-4yrs of our life..

I think they are processing concurrent I-140's and I-485's but only for people whose PD is current. I have seen lot of approvals for EB2 folks both for I140's and I485's here on IV and on . I guess only us EB-3 folks are not getting processed ( maybe some EB2 also ). But mostly its EB-3 which are in cold storage.:(
If you think that they are processing whose PD is current, what about people like us who have an approved I-140 with older PD (which is current), but are waiting for our new I-140 to be approved so that PD can be transferred from the older I-140? Why are our cases being ignored? There are a lot of EB2's who are facing this issue. On the contrary, per , I see numerous EB3 members getting I-140 approvals esp. those who filed on the last 6 months or so. I think this problem is prevalent for both EB2 & EB3 cases.

My question is, does this bill contain a recapture visa bill? And if this bill moves fast to become law, will it be implemented right away? I hope we don't have to wait another year for the law to be put in to use.

Ideally Yes - but once the current visa on the old passport expires, I don't believe you are required to carry it.

"Army Recruiter's main job is to get you in the army by any means. ." With this statement I meant recruiter wont discourage you not to join Army. Point what ych003 made was you will be deployed if you join this program. That is not true once your DHS is approved. ARMY recruitement treat you as regular enlistee. And then you have to go through all the process and procedures as a regular enlistee do in US.
After your trainings you will be assigned to a unit based on that MOS you choose and who needs based on your MOS. Plus Army ask you to fill a list of station you want to go and it is 100% that you will be assigned to first 10 stations you filled up in that case. But if you are in a MOS and the unit that is needed in unstable country then you have to go. But that does not mean if you are a utility speciality will go for infantry. You will working on the base which would be far away from the battlefield. But if you are in armor, infantary etc then you have to do your job on field.

Online on my I485 case status , It says, On Spet 20, we received your case .....
On my actual I 485 mail notice : Aug 10 is recepit date and spect 20, 2007 is notice date.
Which date reflects when USCIS publishes processing time?
Current NSC I 485 processing time is AUG 15,2007. Does it mean my case is already processed since recepit date on my mail notice is Aug 10? OR Shall i assume, case is not processed since notice date spet 20 is mentioned on mail notice and online status.
I dont see any soft or hard LUD since Jan 1, 2008 which is about my AP approval.

How dumb. You think that your case was processed in Dec because you put a Dec travel date.
Also do not create your own theories like - In any case while applying for an AP it is advisable to show a travel date withing 3 months of date of applying for AP
You have no understanding of the system or rules and so do not mislead people. Use your time for constructive purposes and gain more knowledge.

We are on the same boat. My husband's concurrently filed I-140 and I-485 are pending at TSC. Priority date EB2 Dec 2003 has been current for a while now, but no updates on this case. We wailted 4 years to get the labor approved from PBEC, now it seems to be another long wait.
Its very disappointing to see that people with later priority dates are getting approved when we have no clue what is happening with our application and can not even use AC21.
Any suggestions on how to reach USCIS?

I recently applied for my passport renewal through mail (I live in Northen VA 26 miles from DC), as per Embassy web site - do not contact us with 3 weeks of applying. I waited about a month and got my passport without any follow up.
I know there customer service is worst, but often I have seen if there is something wrong with your application, it takes a long time for them to contact you regarding the error (wrong fees, doc missing etc)

Thanks for that. I live in NJ right now and was wondering if it would be a good move. Which would you prefer - OKC or Tulsa? Ever been to Tulsa?
Any other state should be better than NJ!!!!!!....I like going there to visit my uncle's family once in a while but the thought of living there is something I wouldn't entertain!

ready to embed the DAOLOC in the EAD finding aids and work with the Access
database, we need to resolve what we are going to name each image.
Actually, this is already taken care of by the database. The database
automatically assigns a non-metadata encumbered file name to each image.
We (Berkeley) devised this system under Daniel Pitti's tutalage in the
California Heritage Digital Imaging and Access Project. The more we
wrestled with having file names that somehow related to the content or
provenance of a particular item, the more problems we encountered. If you
just enter items into the database, you will have your file names.
Admins, looks like another spam

My i-140 go denied on A2p issues .I have a related question .Im filing MTR ans am curious to know if we can start a parallel process for new 140 while ist one is eith at MTR or apeal stage ?Thanks
