This car has just 78,000 miles and is in great shape. The (fairly rare) 5 speed transmission makes this a desirable car.
This is a practical classic you could drive and enjoy everyday for a very, very long time.

1999 BMW 540iT - BMW never sent the M5 Touring to the US. While not an M, the 540iT is close enough to make it really enjoyable.
The 540iT gets to 60 MPH in around 6 seconds, an M gets there in around 5. Given the price difference between an M (if you can find one in the US) and this car, I'll give up that second. With a few aftermarket suspension mods you can make it handle as well as an M. Me? I'd leave it as is.
Like the Volvo above, this is a car you could drive and enjoy everyday for a very, very long time.

1991 Jeep Cherokee Briarwood - I've owned a few of these. They were my "winter beaters" for many years. Mechanically, you can't kill them. It's the body that ultimately does them in. The rocker panels and door bottoms rust badly.
The Briarwood was the top of the line Cherokee. It's well equipped and comfortable. Most, if not all, Briarwoods came with Jeep's Selec-Trac AWD system. Selec-Trac gives you a choice of 2WD, full time AWD and part time 4WD. I never got stuck with mine. (All my Cherokees had Selec-Trac. It's a really great system.)
This 93,000 mile Briarwood doesn't appear to have much rust (yet). If you buy it, repair what's there and then spray Waxoyl into the doors and rockers. A Cherokee without rust may last a lifetime.

1980 Chrysler Town & Country - According to the seller, this car was owned by comedienne, Lucille Ball.
The seller states that the "history of the car can be provided personally by her driver, Mr. Frank Gorey".
Am I the only one who thinks it's a little weird that a famous star - who I assume had plenty of money - would choose a Town & Country station wagon to be chauffeured around in?
